Stunning new pictures of 'UK Disneyworld' as it partners with Paramount

Brand new images of a theme park dubbed the ‘UK Disneyland’ have been released and it looks incredible.

The London Resort is due to open in 2024 and will have 200 acres dedicated to rides and experiences at the Swanscombe Peninsula in Kent.

The park has signed a new deal with Paramount Studios as it aims to become one of the largest, immersive experience resorts in the world, reports Surrey Live .

The multi-billion pound, 535 acre theme park is set to be the size of 136 Wembley stadiums.

The new deal sees Paramount join BBC and ITV Studios as partners for the theme park.

PY Gerbeau, chief executive of London Resort Company Holdings (LRCH), said: “The new partnership with Paramount is fantastic news for everyone. Now the best of Hollywood will be joining the best of British from BBC Studios and ITV Studios, to create amazing and unique experiences for the whole family."

Kevin Suh, president of themed entertainment and consumer products for Paramount Pictures, said: “The London Resort represents a truly global resort opportunity and we’re delighted to be playing our part in bringing iconic movies to life in truly immersive experiences and rides."

Construction of The London Resort is expected to being in 2021.
