Stunning classics collection of a lifetime up for auction

SIXTEEN of the world’s finest classic cars are coming under the hammer at auction on April 1.

What makes this sale unique is all of the cars are from a single collection, amassed by Belgian enthusiast Hubert Fabri.

From pre-war Aston Martin, Bentley and Bugatti models to racing, touring and supercars from the classic era, each represents the joy of driving to their owner.

As a result, the sale has been called “The Passion of a Lifetime” and is the first time auction firm Gooding & Co has held an event in the UK.

Among the highlights at the sale in London are a 1961 Aston Martin DB4 GT Zagato estimated to make £9million and a 1928 Bugatti Type 35C that has never been restored and is expected to fetch £3million.

Gooding’s founder David Gooding said: “I can proudly say this collection contains some of the rarest cars in existence and is an unforgettable opportunity for myself, collectors and car devotees around the world.”
