A stunning beauty spot not far from Liverpool has been voted one of the best places to walk your dog in the UK.
While Liverpool definitely has no shortage of beautiful places to take your four-legged friends, if you’re looking for somewhere further afield, this might be the perfect place.
Canine Cottages revealed its top five dog walking routes including one in North Wales, around an hour and 40 minutes from Liverpool .
The list follows speculation that the UK could follow suit of Germany and introduce laws which would make it mandatory for pets to be walked twice a day, reports NorthWalesLive.
The beauty spot in Llyn Padarn, in Llanberis, Snowdonia, was voted the best Welsh walk - and the second best route in the whole of the UK.
The file mile circular trail around the lake was only beaten to the top spot by the Cheddar Gorge cliff walk, Somerset.
The glacially formed lake is nestled amidst some of Snowdonia’s most stunning scenery and is one of the largest natural lakes in Wales.
