The Duke and Duchess of Sussex's first joint engagement since announcing they're quitting royal life was one to remember, with moving speeches, glamorous frocks and lots of hugging.
But the unexpected highlight of the evening came when one of the Endeavour Fund Awards winners got down on one knee and proposed to his unsuspecting girlfriend.
Welsh Guards veteran Danny Holland, 29, from Wrexham, north Wales, popped the question to Lauren Price while on stage at the event at Mansion House in London.
Sitting just metres away on front row seats were Harry and Meghan who, like most of the audience, were caught off guard by the announcement.

Meghan smiled and placed her hands in the centre of her chest, while Harry applauded the couple.
And thankfully Danny's romantic gesture paid off, and Lauren, 24, said yes.
Danny said: "With winning (the award) as well, there was no better time to do it.
"Although she always said she didn't want it with a lot of other people around."

Meghan and Harry were so moved by the moment they asked to speak to the newly engaged couple privately after the awards had finished.
Lauren said: "They just congratulated us. They asked us how we felt and if I was expecting it. They said they were really happy for us."
Danny was left with mental health difficulties after being hit by an improvised explosive device in Afghanistan.
He is now a racing driver, supported by Mission Motorsport, and is working towards becoming an instructor to help others in their rehabilitation.

Harry's proposal to Meghan was also very romantic , although it was much more private than Danny's.
He popped the question at their Kensington Palace cottage in 2017, and the couple spoke about the special moment during their engagement interview with BBC presenter Mishal Husain.
Meghan admitted it was "sweet, natural and very romantic" and just a "standard typical night in" for the pair.
Speaking about the moment he got down on one knee, Meghan said: "Just a cosy night, it was - what we were doing just roasting chicken and having …"
Interrupting his then-fiancee, Harry said: "Roasting a chicken, trying to roast a chicken."

Meghan continued: "Trying to roast a chicken and it just - just an amazing surprise, it was so sweet and natural and very romantic. He got on one knee."
The former actress admitted she "barely" let her husband-to-be finish proposing before she said: "Can I say yes now?"
Harry added: "She didn't even let me finish, she said can I say yes, can I say yes and then were was hugs and I had the ring in my finger and I was like can I - can I give you the ring? She goes - oh yes the ring.
"So no it was - it was a really nice moment, it was just the two of us and I think managed to catch - catch her by surprise as well."
Meghan claimed their relationship was not a "whirlwind romance" and revealed she has already met the Queen "a couple of times" - with Harry adding that the corgis took to her "straight away".
