Motorists were stunned this morning to find that a BOAT had crashed on the East Lancs Road .
Drivers spotted that the worn blue motorboat had taken a tumble across a grass verge on Saturday morning.

A witness told of a blue van that was seen parked in the central reservation several yards in front.
According to eyewitnesses police officers and two police vehicles were in the area and part of the road was closed.
One passerby said: "A few drivers even have slowed down to look at the scene".
A spokesperson from Merseyside Police has confirmed that there have been no injuries.
The area is expected to become clear shortly following recovery by the team.
