Ally McCoist was left stunned after Rangers were denied an opening goal against Genk by a "remarkable" clearance.
The Ibrox hero couldn't believe a goalline clearance by Genk captain Bryan Heynan to prevent John Souttar from opening the scoring with a headed effort.
The Rangers centre-back looked to have nodded home from a whipped James Tavernier free-kick only for the flying Heynan to hook clear off the line with an overhead kick.
Stunned by the defending, McCoist said: "It's one of the best I have ever seen Rory. That is one of the best I think I have ever seen.
"The header is fantastic and the clearance is better. That is remarkable.
"I cannot tell you how difficult that is.
"I saw Tyrone Mings do one in Europe last year over in Belgium, funnily enough, and it was as good as I've seen. But that has equalled it.
"That is remarkable from Heynan there to get that off the line."

Seconds later, McCoist was left relieved after former Celtic striker Oh Hyeon-gyu passed up a huge chance at the other end of the park.
The forward was picked out in acres of space in the box, but blazed over the crossbar.
Meanwhile, Russell Martin said of the decision to start Youssef Chermiti over Bojan Miovski: "I think you analyse the opposition and also you put into context the performances we have had.
"Bojan has done great since he has come in and then scored which was great on Saturday but looked a bit tired because he has gone from not much football to a lot of minutes and he has done brilliantly.
"You assess things. We have had three games this week. Youssef has trained brilliantly; they are pushing each other really hard, along with Dani as well.
"It just felt it was the right change to make for us tonight."
