Stun gun, drugs and £7,000 stash found in police swoop on Norris Green house

This stun gun, a stash of cash totalling £7,000 and both class A and class B drugs were seized after police stormed a house in Norris Green.

A man and woman were also arrested after offices carried out the bust in Colesborne Road on Monday.

Police today revealed images of the haul including the stun gun - possessing such a weapon can lead to a jail sentence of up to 10 years.

Officers also seized bank notes totalling £7,000 and crack cocaine and cannabis after raiding the property on the residential street at midday.

The two arrested - a 21-year-old woman and 24-year-old man - are suspected of drugs and money-laundering offences, police confirmed.

A Merseyside Police spokesman said: "Both were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply crack cocaine; possession with intent to supply cannabis; and money laundering.

"They have been released under investigation while enquiries continue into those items recovered."
