Leeds United fans are some of the most vocal and passionate in England, but the club itself is also the most hated, according to an unofficial study.
The Whites narrowly missed out on promotion to the Premier League this season thanks to a third-place finish as they were edged out of automatic promotion by Sheffield United.
Marcelo Bielsa's men were then beaten in the Championship play-off semi-finals by Derby County as their promotion hopes were put on ice for another year.
But the hatred towards Leeds doesn't come from just this season and the spy scandal which maligned the club, it's clearly an issue going back a great deal of time - and is seen as a badge of honour by large swathes of the fan base.
Every club loves to hate Leeds it seems and that has been proved somewhat in an unofficial study by FanChants, a website which has archived over 26,000 chants.
Leeds lead the way with a remarkable 117 opposition chants sung about the Whites. Liverpool are the most hated team in the Premier League thanks to the 50 chants which are sung about the Reds.
Tottenham Hotspur have 42 negative chants, while the likes of Manchester City (39) and Manchester United (34) are also high on the hated list, according to FanChants.
