The Jacksonville Jaguars didn’t think they came out flat against the San Francisco 49ers. They simply got dominated.
“That’s what’s most frustrating is when you play like this and you can’t point to something during the week,” Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence said after the game. “I thought we had a great week of practice, we had the right mindset, obviously there was some disconnect at some point to play that way, but I thought the energy was really good.
“We were all amped to play we knew this was a big game, knew this was a good team coming in here and we felt like we could take advantage of this opportunity and beat a good team and we didn’t. We played our worse game of the year.”
So who deserves the blame for the embarrassing 34-3 loss? And which players did alright, despite the lopsided score? Here are some studs and duds from the Jaguars’ Week 10 blowout loss:
Dud: QB Trevor Lawrence

Lawrence, who had two interceptions, a fumble, and no touchdowns, said it best after the game.
“It’s terrible. It’s one of the worst games I’ve probably played in my career,” Lawrence said. “So, I feel that and I take responsibility for that and, yeah, we couldn’t do anything right today … I take a lot of responsibility for it. Played really, really bad today.”
Yep, that pretty much sums it up.
There aren’t many Jaguars who played well Sunday, but nobody’s bad day was nearly as costly as Lawrence’s three-turnover afternoon.
Dud: RB Tank Bigsby

Was the interception that bounced off the hands of Bigsby his fault? Eh, maybe not. It was a bit of a fastball from Lawrence to a player five yards in front of him.
But it was, yet again, a turnover off the hands of Bigsby.
The rookie running back has only officially recorded 27 touches so far this season, yet he’s played a part in four turnovers. D’Ernest Johnson played well in his moments on the field Sunday while Bigsby finished with five yards on three carries.

Lawrence was sacked five times by the 49ers on Sunday, tied for the most in his career.
San Francisco’s defensive front is a nightmare with Chase Young added to a group with Nick Bosa, Arik Armstead, and plenty of others. The Jaguars thought they were up to the challenge, but that proved not to be the case.
Stud: LB Foye Oluokun
Jacksonville’s defensive leader recorded his first ever multi-sack game by bringing down the 49ers’ Brock Purdy twice. It wasn’t nearly enough, but Oluokun did what he could to get San Francisco off the field.

The Jaguars trusted their second-year linebacker to run one-on-one with the 49ers’ star tight end, George Kittle. That proved to be a severe miscalculation as Lloyd was torched for a back-breaking 66-yard touchdown. Lloyd was also hit with a facemask penalty that put the 49ers in the red zone late in the first half.
Stud: OLBs Josh Allen and Travon Walker
While Oluokun was the only Jaguars player to record a sack, Allen and Walker made their presence felt. Both created pretty consistent pressure against Purdy and forced some errant throws.
Dud: Jaguars secondary
Far too often, there were 49ers receivers running wide open through the middle of the Jacksonville secondary. And even when Brock Purdy would fire into traffic, the Jaguars defensive backs simply didn’t make much of a play on the ball. The end result was 296 yards, three touchdowns, and no interceptions for Purdy.
