Studio Ghibli is releasing a new movie, Earwig and Witch which is coming to Netflix soon.
The latest animated film is the 21st film the studio has created over the last year.
“We’re thrilled that our film Earwig and the Witch will reach many countries and territories through Netflix,” said director Goro Miyazaki.
The film marks a new era in Studio Ghibli production being the first fully 3D CGI film from the studio.
Miyazaki said: "It was an exciting challenge to reflect the spirit and pride of our studio using this new art form."
Aram Yacoubian, director of animation film at Netflix said the film would bring a "fresh perspective."
According to Yacoubian, 55m households have chosen to watch a Studio Ghibli film on Netflix since 2020.
