Studio flat at £82,000 looks spacious until you spot spot problem with the bedroom

A studio flat on the market for £82,000 has been mocked for hiding a bed behind a curtain in the kitchen.

The pad in Glasgow, Scotland, looks fairly normal at first glance - with a posh frontage, a large living room and a standard-sized bathroom.

But a closer inspection of the modern kitchen shows the hidden bed which is on the other side of a shower-type curtain.

The property listing says it has a "dining-sized kitchen incorporating an enclosed internal sleeping area."

It is being marketed as a "large style studio flat" but house hunters have ridiculed it for creating a bizarre "kitchen bunk".

Hilarious photos show how the bed is hidden behind a curtain in the corner of the kitchen.

It is curtained off to create a sleeping pod but prospective buyers joked that the pokey makeshift bedroom must constantly smell like cooking.

Matt McCallum said: "Looks fine, looks fine, looks f- wait is that a bed in the kitchen?

"£82k to sleep in a bed constantly humming of onions and garlic."

Sally joked: "That kitchen is massive...

"It's like somebody forgot to put in a bedroom."

Another woman added: "'If you need me, I'll be in the kitchen bunk."

The studio flat is being advertised by estate agent Slater Hogg and Howison.

It said of the property: "Larger style studio flat in an outstanding location.

"The property offers a flexible layout and would be perfect for a first time buyer or young professional looking to live in a prime West End location.

"The accommodation at present extends to reception hallway with storage cupboard, WC, formal bay windowed living room, dining sized kitchen incorporating an enclosed internal sleeping area with storage above, freshly installed bathroom.

"The flat offers scope to be further altered to create a double bedroom subject to the relevant planning and building warrant and also has double glazing."
