Living in a flat can be a nightmare if you have noisy neighbours – especially if the noise they make comes from activities you really don’t want to hear.
And two students on TikTok know just how horrifying it can be after being forced to listen to the people in the flat above them have incredibly loud sex.
Simran Kandola, @simkandola, and her flat mate have had enough of their neighbour’s antics, and have decided to post a cheeky note under their door to let them know noisy they’re being.
The note read: “We can hear someone in your flat f***ing at night.”

In a video of Simran sliding the note under the bottom of the door, the woman can also be seen ringing the doorbell before she and the person filming the video run away down the stairs to their own flat before the neighbour catches them.
The video has 1.4 million views, and many of the 350 comments are from people who can sadly relate to having noisy neighbours.
One person wrote: “I can literally hear my neighbours doing it right now ... it happens every night.”
While another said: “Someone in the apartment above me screams like she’s dying, and it’s like girl, you’re lying.”
But others were sympathetic to the neighbours, insisting they were just trying to have fun and were minding their own business.
Someone said: “They pay for their space just like you do yours, I always find I mind my own business with headphones in anyways.”
And someone else agreed, adding: “Why do you care so much? Do you think leaving a petty note is going to keep them from f***ing?”
While another wrote: “And? Let them enjoy themselves.”
One commenter even said she became best friends with her neighbours after they gave her a similar note.
She wrote: “I met some of my best friends in college because they left a sticky note like this for my roomie on the window of our dorms.”
