A-Level students collecting results today can get an unexpected perk from Currys PC World whether they’re celebrating or commiserating.
Anyone off to university this September can try to claim one of 10 Microsoft Surface Laptops at a 99% discount, reports the Mirror .
The laptops, which typically cost £979, are up for grabs for £8.79 - all student shoppers need to do is take a photo of their results certificates and submit it to techtalk.curry.co.uk before 11.59pm on August 22.
If selected, 10 lucky students will receive a code to take into their local Curry PC World to claim their laptop.
James Tyne, category manager for laptops at Currys PC World, said: “We are delighted to be able to help students celebrate their A level results this year.
“By reducing the Microsoft Surface Laptop 2 to just £8.79, 10 lucky students will now be able to set themselves up ahead of enrolling in university in September.
