In what is expected to be the largest student protest in four years, thousands are expected to march through central London for the scrapping of tuition fees. If you’re taking part or merely an observer we’d like to hear from you.

Why do you think the government should get rid of tuition fees? Who are you marching with? What does the demonstration mean to you? Whether you’re marching the whole route or only a part of it, share your photos, videos and stories with us.

You can do this by clicking on the blue ‘Contribute’ button on this article or if you’re out and about you can use the GuardianWitness smartphone app or the new Guardian app and search for ‘GuardianWitness assignments’. We’ll include the most interesting contributions in our live blog and in an online gallery.
