Student slams I Saw It First bralet that was the same size as her hairbrush

A student has slammed online retailer I Saw It First after her supposedly size eight bralet was the same size as her hairbrush.

Simone Lyle said she couldn't believe her eyes when the £20, neon green top arrived considerably smaller than expected from the Love Island sponsor brand.

The 21-year-old student nurse shared an image of the top next to her hairbrush to show just how small it measured up.

Simone claims the garment "wouldn't even fit my nine year old cousin".

One image shows the University of Stirling student modelling the cropped top as it strains across her chest, revealing her black bra underneath.

Simone shared the images with the caption: "I mean forgive the black bra, but @isawitfirst is this a bloody joke? My hairbrush is the same size as your so called size 8 top?? Ngl it wouldn't even fit my nine year old cousin x P.S. I'm 5'6".

Another image from her post shows I Saw It First's description of the product, which states the model wearing the garment is 5'9" and wearing a S/UK 8 size top.

Fellow social media users have reacted with amusement to the post.

@oneill1309 replied: "Howling."

Kate Johnstone added: "The hairbrush comparison" followed by a number of laughing face emojis.

And Toni Connor said: "I had this problem tried to order their Molly-Mae black dress, looked nothing like the picture they advertised never again will I shop there."

Simone replied: "I've never had any bother with them before, I usually love their stuff but I genuinely near died when I got this through today."

I Saw It First have since responded online to Simone's complaint saying they would look into the issue.

Although she clearly saw the funny side, Simone sent back an important message, saying: "I'm not feeling very good about my order. Please don't advertise your clothing sizes falsely as it makes us gals feel very insecure and larger than our size, thanks x".
