Student describes grim £1,000-a-month house-share with three ‘random men’ in viral video

A student has gone viral on TikTok after sharing the grim conditions of living in a £1,000 a month house share with three 'random men'.

Molly Wyss, an American student living in London, rents a room in a four bedroom flat with three male flat mates she found online.

The 19-year-old fashion and business student shared the video to TikTok which shows the squalor she has to live in.

The video quickly became popular with users and had over 480k views - with many commenting on the filthy conditions.

There are images in the video which show a build of toothpaste covering the cupboard tops as well as a washing machine which is covered in mould.

As the only woman in the flat share, Molly, has resorted to wearing shoes in the shower due to how bad disgusting the flat has gotten.

She told Metro.co.uk : "I’m trying to find a way that I can afford a gym membership so I can shower somewhere else, it’s that bad.

"Part of the problem has to do with the state that the property has been left in.

"It’s just disrespectful, there’s so much mould everywhere.

‘"I’ve gotten sick more than I ever have in my life and it’s because of the mould and state of the house, which is not okay."

"For example, there’s a separate shower room with no lock on the door which I flagged as a safety issue as the only female there but no one has been in to fix it."

Fortunately, Molly will not be in the house for much longer as the end of her lease is coming up.

But after posting the video online she's had girls reach out to her on TikTok to see if she wanted a place together with them.

One user wrote: ‘Girl, please move out. I have been where you are now.

"I now live in Kingston, beautiful large flat and share with only one girl. Move out asap."

However, Molly made the video to raise awareness of the unpredictability of renting with strangers, she said: ‘"I made the TikTok because I wanted to show this is what London can be.

"You have to be careful."

TikTok users were quickly sympathising with Molly's current predicament with one user commenting: "How are you surviving?????"
