Student deals in Dublin: Cheap eats and great discounts

Being a student comes with a pretty neat perk in the form of student discounts. From nightclub entry to high street finds to delicious bites, you can really get yourself some bargains with a student cards in Dublin.

So, we thought we would handpick some of the best ones for you so you know where to go next time you're looking for something to do or your taste buds are craving something tasty.

Pablo Picante

In the market for a burrito at a discount? Pablo Picante is where you're going to want to head, with restaurants on Aston Quay, Clarendon Market, Baggot Street and Dawson Street. For €6.95, you can get yourself the student deal. Simply select one of seven burritos from the menu as well as a soft drink or bottle of water.

Captain Americas

Captain America's, with restaurants on Grafton Street and in Blanchardstown, has a stunning student deal that gets you a main menu item, hand cut fries and a soft drink of your choice for €9.95.

Bunsen

You'll find Bunsen on Dame Street, Wexford Street, South Anne Street, Baggot Street and in Temple Bar and Ranelagh. Their student deal gets you a single burger/cheeseburger, shoe string fries and a soft drink for €11.45.

Mary's Bar

Mary's Bar and indeed the Wow Burger on the basement level could be considered one of the best hidden gems in Dublin. With a valid student card, enjoy a burger, hand cut fries and a soft drink for €10.

McDonald’s

Listen, you can't beat the classics. The student deal at McDonald's allows you to get a medium Extra Value meal for just €5. All you have to do is show a valid student leap card. You'll get to choose from the Big Mac, Filet O-Fish, Quarter Pounder, McChicken Sandwich, Vegetable Deluxe or 6 Chicken Nuggets.

Milano

Fancy 30% off your pizza next time you visit Milano? You will have to have a UNIDAYS membership to avail of the discount but once you do, you'll get this deal from Sundays to Thursdays.

Movies @ Dundrum/Swords

Cinema chain Movies @, with cinemas in Swords and Dundrum, have a Tuesday deal for students which gets you a ticket as well as a medium combo meal all included in the one price (which depends on what you're going to see).
