Student captures teacher expertly roasting their work during virtual lesson

A teacher has been praised for "saying what everyone is thinking" after his hilariously honest feedback to students' work went viral.

Video call lessons can be a little dull but one graphic design teacher found a way to keep his students - and millions on the internet - interested in what he has to say.

One of the students shared a clip on TikTok with the caption: 'Watch my graphic design teacher roast our work', adding his feedback was the "only reason I go to class".

Going through the logo designs his class had submitted, the teacher critiques each one in what he calls a "rapid roast" and things start off quite tame as he says the first is "boring, but it works".

Viewers begged for more videos of the teacher's "rapid roast" sessions (ta5hababy/TIKTOK)

One design is then said to "mostly look like a butt" as @Ta5hababy can be heard sniggering while filming, and another student is simply told: "Oh Monica, no. Sorry."

The teacher says another work "feels like a logo for a corporation that is proudly polluting the environment" and one student is asked: "As far as this goes, the question is; why?"

Other feedback also includes: "It sort of just looks like the personification of a fart" and "it mostly just looks like a spider that got its legs ripped off".

The refreshingly honest feedback has been viewed almost 13 million times, as one person commented to say: "I mean he's harsh but this helps them to improve immensely AND it makes the class entertaining."

A second said: "Still feeling bad for Monica."

A third wrote: "Had a teacher like this. Not going to lie my design skills improved dramatically because of him."

And another pleaded: "Please make this the entirety of your content. Thank you."
