Student 'blagged free KFC for two years after posing as boss from head office'

A student has been branded a "legend" for tricking KFC staff into giving him free food for more than two years, after pretending to be from head office, it has been claimed.

The 27-year-old would allegedly turn up at various restaurants around Durban, South Africa, and demand to inspect the kitchens.

He would arrive in a limo - taken by a friend who worked as a driver - and wore a suit and gave out business cards to fool staff.

One staff member told Xpouzar : "When he arrived we will all try to act our best so that we don’t p*** off man from head office, he was so convincing because he was so confident and even colleagues from other KFC’s knows him.

“When he comes in he rushed to the kitchen and check everything taking notes and then ask for samples of whatever he wants.

"He probably worked for KFC before because he knows everything.”

The lad who attends University of KwaZulu-Natal has been arrested and is due to face charges.
