Student accommodation Dublin: Capital ranked top European city for students

Dublin has been named the best city in Europe for college students, according to a new study.

The survey was carried out by studee.com and ranked Dublin in 13th place, the highest-ranking of any European city.

Some of the factors taken into consideration include the cost of rent, living, the price of MacBooks, internet speeds and the number of young people in each city.

Dublin scored a total of 5, while the top-ranked city, Tokyo, scored 5.52.

For rent, Studee estimates that the cost is €1,700. The cost of living is estimated at €913 while the price of a Macbook is on average, €1,022.

Only two countries ranked above Dublin have faster internet speeds than the capitals 59mbps. The average cost of food is measured at 0.52.
