Stuart Dallas's warning for critics as Leeds United prepare response to Cardiff City collpase

Stuart Dallas has admitted Leeds United were left dejected by their capitulation against Cardiff City on Saturday, but they know it is important to not be "caught up too much" going forward.

The Whites surrendered a healthy three-goal lead to drop points for the first time in eight games against the Bluebirds as Marcelo Bielsa saw his side finish locked on level terms at Elland Road.

Speaking ahead of Saturday's trip to Fulham, Northern Ireland international Dallas acknowledged there were natural frustrations following United's performance, but stressed they were not going to get ahead of themselves after one slip-up.

"Obviously it was disappointing, but it's important we don't get caught up too much in that," he said.

"Obviously 3-0 up and throwing that away is disappointing, but we're still in a good position and the mood in the camp is good.

"It's always been good, but a lot of people maybe read into it too much at the weekend.

"We've been on an incredible run, but these things happen in football. We're still in a very, very good position.

"I know it's an old cliche, but we've got to just take one game at a time and that's a massive game this weekend against Fulham."

Dallas was talking at the Mission Christmas distribution centre, where members of the first-team squad were taking time out from their schedule to deliver gifts donated by supporters.

"To be able to come here, football comes second when you come to things like this here, especially being a family man and having kids myself," he added.

"There's a lot more things important than football. It's sad coming to things like this but we're in a privileged position to be able to come here and make a small difference."
