Stuart Dallas's special message to Leeds United fans as the team rights the wrongs of last season

Stuart Dallas has played tribute to Leeds United's supporters and praised their role in the club's strong start to the Championship season.

The Whites sit top of the pile after five games, after taking 13 points from a maximum 15.

On Saturday, United once again took apart an underperforming Stoke City side, outclassing their opponents and cruising to a 3-0 victory.

Strikes from Dallas, Ezgjan Alioski and Patrick Bamford sealed the points, with Pablo Hernandez instrumental in the first and third goals.

Marcelo Bielsa's side were backed by another sell-out away end at the bet365 Stadium, as they have been at Bristol City and Wigan Athletic in their previous matches on the road.

Dallas was quick to laud the Leeds travelling faithful after the game and insisted their support has helped drive the team on so far this season.

Speaking to the press after the match, the Northern Irishman said: "It's incredible. They sell out that away end every other week and at Elland Road as well.

"There are no better fans to play in front of and I'm not just saying that. That's me being honest.

"It's incredible the support they give you, they really drive you on when times are hard.

"They've stuck with us when times have been hard over recent years and hopefully we can reward them with performances like that on a regular basis and we'll see how far it takes us."

The Whites will lock horns with Stoke once again on Tuesday in the Carabao Cup.

Nathan Jones's team will be looking to exact revenge after their mauling in the Potteries and ease the growing pressure on his position.

Stoke have won just three times in 26 matches under the former Luton Town boss and they sit bottom of the table after their opening five Championship fixtures with a solitary point to their name.
