Stuart Dallas rewarded for stellar 2020-21 campaign with new Leeds United contract

Leeds United have confirmed that Stuart Dallas has signed a new contract with the club.

The 30-year-old has put pen to paper on a new three-year deal with the club which sees him commit his future until the summer of 2024.

This new deal comes after the Northern Ireland international produced a steller 2021-22 campaign, starting every single Premier League game for Leeds, scoring eight times and serving up two assists.

Dallas was responsible for the high point of Leeds' first season back in the top flight, when he scored a brace at Manchester City in April, including the last-gasp winner as the ten-men Whites stunned the soon-to-be champions.

Once again, his versatility was a huge asset for Marcelo Bielsa, as Dallas regularly turned out across the pitch, whether that was in either full-back position or across the midfield.

His contribution last season saw him win three prizes at the club's end-of-season awards ceremony, including the Player of the Year, Players' Player of the Year and the goal of the season for his Etihad winner.

Dallas has clocked up 229 appearances for Leeds since his 2015 arrival from Brentford, missing just one league game in Leeds' last two seasons.

Despite seeing his season extended when he won his 55th and 56th Northern Ireland caps this summer, Dallas reported back to duty with the rest of the Leeds squad for day one of pre-season testing on Thursday.
