Stuart Dallas drops huge hint over Ezgjan Alioski's Leeds United future

Stuart Dallas has offered the clearest indication yet that Ezgjan Alioski will leave Leeds United at the end of his contract.

The Whites defender's terms expire at the end of June and no official announcement has been made on his future.

Pablo Hernandez and Gaetano Berardi bid an emotional farewell to the club on Sunday after Marcelo Bielsa confirmed the experienced pair would be leaving Elland Road but official word is still schtum on Alioski.

Left-back is understood to be a key area of priority for Leeds to strengthen in the transfer window, with Barry Douglas also out of contract and set to move on.

Speaking to Live Now at Leeds' end-of-season awards dinner, Dallas namechecked Alioski alongside Hernandez and Berardi in a summary of those departing the club.

“This has been an incredible journey to share with people,” Dallas said. “I spoke earlier about Bera and Pablo… Alioski, where is he? He’s not here…

“This for me it’s a special moment because these people have given so much to the club, we’ve achieved so much together and we’re losing them as teammates.

“For me, it’s sad because they’ve been such a big part of our group. It’s sad… I don’t know what to say. They’ve been great servants to the club.”

“I love it here, to play with this team with this style we play is amazing and I’m improving every day,” Alioski said in January when last speaking about his future.

“I’m learning every day something and it’s the best thing you can have in the Premier League to play against teams that have players in the squad that are the best in Europe.

“You can play against them, to show them where you are and it’s nice.

“How we perform together, how strong we are together like a team and it’s nice to be a part.”
