Stuart Broad is back as England set sights on levelling West Indies series

Stuart Broad is set to return in the second Test against the West Indies in Antigua but England are likely to stick with the balance of the side who were badly beaten in Barbados.

If, as expected, the wicket is dry and slow, Jack Leach is likely to come into the XI, with Sam Curran and Adil Rashid the men to miss out.

Ben Foakes is set to retain his place behind the stumps despite saying he would understand if he were dropped.

England arrived in Antigua yesterday and trained after team meetings in which their awful batting during the 381-run defeat in the first Test was addressed.

Foakes said: “We knew they’d be a good team. We didn’t think we’d lose by 300-odd runs but we knew they had some amazing players. They played extremely well but we were well under par and have a lot more to give.”
