The award-winning line-up for NightFest has been announced, as tickets for the 2026 event go on sale.
The Temper Trap, Christine Anu and Tim Finn, ARIA winners one and all, will be performing at NightFest in Commonwealth Park, the after-dark component of Floriade running from October 1 to 4.
Commonwealth Park will be transformed into an after-dark experience for NightFest, combining live music, illuminated gardens, entertainment, food and family-friendly activities.
The four-night program features ARIA-winning artists The Temper Trap, known globally for their multi-award-winning hit Sweet Disposition, and pioneering force Tim Finn, whose celebrated career spans Split Enz, Crowded House and acclaimed solo success.
Joining them are ARIA-nominated favourites, rising indie rockers Pacific Avenue, the ever-popular Busby Marou and national treasure Christine Anu, alongside some of Canberra's best local performers.
Events ACT executive branch Manager Ross Triffitt said the 2026 program marked a new high point for the event.
"This is the strongest line-up in NightFest's history and reflects the incredible growth of the event," he said.
"We're bringing some of Australia's most celebrated performers to Commonwealth Park, alongside the spectacular illuminated gardens and experiences that make NightFest unlike anything else in the country.
"With only four nights and tickets on sale now, we encourage people to secure their tickets early."
Visitors to NightFest can also explore illuminated floral displays and large-scale light installations, enjoy roving entertainment, browse market stalls and experience a diverse range of food and drink offerings throughout the park.
