Strongbow rosé cider launches in supermarkets

Popular cider brand Strongbow has made its first venture into producing a rosé version of the drink - and it is available in supermarkets already.

The tipple, which is made from blush red apples, has arrived in shops up and down the country.

It contains no artificial sweeteners, flavours or colours and a 500ml can be bought in supermarkets Asda and Morrisons for £1.50.

Four-packs of 440ml cans are also available for £5.25 while a pack of 10 can be purchased for £12 - although prices may vary between stores.

However, the new Strongbow Rosé drink isn't available to buy online just yet, reports the Mirror.

Rachel Holms, brand director for Strongbow said: "We’re really excited about the latest edition to our range of refreshing ciders.

"Not only is Strongbow Rosé the most successful recipe we’ve ever tested, we’ve also got exciting launch plans this Summer to make sure as many people as possible get to try it."

Strongbow isn't the first brand to offer a rosé cider.

Thatchers does a rosé cider made from a blend of Cripps Pink, Fuji and Gala apples - which is sold in a 500ml bottle at Morrisons for £2.30.

In case you wanted to stock up on the original Strongbow cider, Asda is currently selling 18 440ml cans for £12 in stores and online.
