Strongbow launches brand new flavour only available in Asda and Morrisons

Strongbow has just launched a brand new flavour.

As of today, the popular drinks company will be rolling out cans and bottles of rosé cider across selected UK supermarkets.

The new flavour has been made from blush red apples and promises no artificial flavours, sweeteners or colours.

Joining the selection of existing flavours - including Original, Dark Fruit and Cloudy Apple - Strongbow's rosé cider will be the companies 11th flavour worldwide.

But UK shoppers won't be able to get their hands on the new drink at every retailer.

According to the Strongbow UK twitter page , the rosé cider is currently being sold at Asda and Morrisons UK stores only.

The new product's recommended retail price is £1.50 per 500ml - but prices can vary from store to store.

At Asda, customers can get four 440ml cans for £4.50 or ten 440ml cans for £9 - a similar price to the remaining Strongbow flavours stocked at Asda.

And Asda will also be selling individual 500ml bottles of the new rosé cider for £1 per bottle.

The alcohol volume of the new flavour remains the same as Strongbow's other products at 4 per cent.

And the drink contains 43 calories per 100ml - slightly more calorific than the Dark Fruit and Original flavours.

But Strongbow is late to the game when it comes to its new addition.

Rosé flavoured cider is already being sold by Strongbow's competitors including Thatchers, Koppaberg and Angry Orchard.
