Strong winds to fan bushfire flames

The ACT is in a state of emergency as high temperatures and strong winds threaten to spread the Orroral Valley bushfire close to Canberra's southern suburbs.

Residents of Tharwa and the southern Canberra suburbs of Banks, Gordon, and Conder should monitor the fire conditions closely and be ready to act.
