
Police are warning West Side residents of a series of robberies reported in recent weeks in West Town, Ukrainian Village and Humboldt Park.
In each case, the suspects either displayed a handgun or grabbed someone and demanded their belongings, Chicago police said in a community alert.
The robberies happened:
- At 6:23 p.m. Nov. 15 in the 700 block of North Rockwell Street
- At 6:20 p.m. Nov. 16 in the 800 block of North Hoyne Avenue
- At 6:47 p.m. Nov. 18 in the 2400 block of West Iowa Street
- At 3 p.m. Nov. 22 in the 1100 block of North Western Avenue
- At 10:30 a.m. Nov. 23 in the 2700 block of West Thomas Street
The suspects were described as two 14 to 18-year-old males, police said. They were wearing ski masks in one incident.
