
Police are warning South Side residents of a string of armed robberies reported over the last month in Park Manor.
In each incident, one or two males approached a victim at gunpoint and demanded their property, according to Chicago police.
The robberies happened:
- about 7:03 p.m. Oct. 13 in the 400 Block of East 71st Street;
- about 11:54 p.m. Oct. 17 in the 300 Block of East 71st Street;
- about 1:30 a.m. Oct. 21 in the 6900 Block of South Wabash Avenue;
- about 1:50 a.m. Oct. 21 in the 7000 Block of South Calumet Avenue;
- about 3:00 a.m. Oct. 21 in the 300 Block of East 71st Street; and
- about 2:42 a.m. Oct. 29 in the 200 Block of East 70th Street.
Police said the suspects are between 16 and 29 years old.
Residents of Park Manor were recently warned of a pair of men who held up two taxi drivers on Oct. 28 and Nov. 5.
