Striker price tag slashed amid Nottingham Forest link - report

Nottingham Forest continue to be linked with Galatasaray's Mbaye Diagne - and it is now reported the Turkish giants are prepared to take a huge loss on the Senegalese striker.

Fotomac report Galatasaray are "making plans to dispose of" the 28-year-old for 5m euros, having paid 13m euros to sign him from Turkish Super Lig rivals Kasimpasa.

Diagne is currently on loan at Belgian club Club Brugge.

It is understood he wants to return to Galatasaray - but Turkish daily newspaper Milliyet reports manager Fatih Terim wants to assess the interest in him.

Diagne was top scorer in the Turkish Super Lig last season with 30 goals, and has netted four goals in six league matches on loan at Club Brugge and played in the Champions League.
