Strictly Come Dancing winner Rose Ayling-Ellis has dazzled on the dancefloor over the past three months while breaking boundaries with pro partner Giovanni Pernice.
And an unearthed music video shows the talented actress, who was the first deaf contestant on the BBC One show, saw her raising awareness of the deaf community back in 2017.
Rose, from Manchester, appeared with the British pop rock band The Vamps in their video for Middle of the Night.

The gritty video - a far cry from Rose's glitz and glamour on Strictly - shows a distraught couple arguing with each other while communicating the lyrics of the song in sign language.

Its release coincided with the start of Deaf Awareness Week.
The Vamps’ fans thanked the band for including sign language in the video while bringing a new meaning to the song.
@folklorebrad said: "It’s nice to see the vamps spreading awareness about sign language."

@hanschubbycheek tweeted: "Many people from the deaf community feel recognised and appreciated. I just wanna say thank you @thevampsband."
Morgan Angel commented on YouTube: "I have permanent hearing loss, not deaf, but the fact that there's a music video of the current times that includes something for the deaf/hard of hearing hits me in the heart in happy ways. Y'all have always been amazing."
And Melissa Wicking said: "I’m forever proud of you guys. I’m actually deaf myself and to those that are about to attack me asking how can I hear their songs, well I use cochlear implants which is similar to hearing aids.
"Therefore, I use sign language and seeing you guys releasing a video of people using sign language melts my heart."
On Strictly Rose dedicated their couple's choice routine to the deaf community with a memorable moment of silence in the middle of their dance to Symphony by Clean Bandit featuring Zara Larsson.
Rose joined the BBC soap EastEnders as Frankie Lewis last year.
The star uses a hearing aid, so on Strictly she could pick up some of the music and could hear the beat as well as feel the vibrations from the live band led by Dave Arch through the dancefloor at the show's Elstree studios.
Rose also read her partner's body language and counted in her head to help with timing during their spellbinding performances.
