Strictly Come Dancing contestant Caroline Quentin shocked viewers by appearing to lick her dance partner Johannes Radebe during their latest dance routine.
The former Men Behaving Badly actress leaned over and stuck her tongue out at Johannes' arm during their high-spirited cha cha to Rescue Me by Fontella Bass during Saturday night's show - and some fans thought it was out of order on the primetime family dance show.
In a performance dubbed 'very Carry On' Johannes played a firefighter who arrived to rescue Caroline's cat, and her dance persona was swooning over his biceps.
"If Bill Bailey had licked Oti’s arm would the nation be smiling? No, he’d be kicked off the show," voiced one viewer on Twitter.
"Caroline Q licking Johannes arm made my skin crawl."
"Good grief. Watching #Strictly on catch up and Caroline’s cha cha is very Carry On isn’t it?" said another.
"Caroline licking Johanus arm was a bridge too far," tweeted another fan.
"Hated the facial expressions and the licking," commented another.

And another unimpressed fan of the show said it was 'just weird.'
But another fan said: "Absolutely howling when she started licking his arm.
