Avid Strictly fans were confused as they sat down to watch the long-running dance show on Saturday night.
As they settled down to watch the final three weeks of the BBC contest viewers noticed something different about the start of tonight's show (November 27).
While the house band played in the celebs and their professional dance partners, devotees were convinced that the Strictly Come Dancing theme song sounded different.

They took to Twitter to ask what was going on.

And @geekytrom asked the band: "The music when 'our strictly stars' came in was very different tonight?"
Dave Arch and his orchestra are the musical backbone of Strictly Come Dancing and have been the house band since 2006.
During another action-packed show the praise came pouring in for the band.
