Strictly viewers are missing Motsi as they give their verdict on Anton as replacement judge

She's missing from this week's Strictly Come Dancing and viewers have taken to social media to say they're missing judge Motsi Mabuse.

Fans flocked to Twitter to wish Motsi well after it was announced that the Strictly Come Dancing star is self-isolating at home after returning to the UK from Germany in line with the latest government travel restrictions.

Motsi, 39, revealed her urgent trip to Germany was because she was working with police after someone had tried to break into her dance school.

The dancer said: "Unfortunately we have no good news. Someone tried to break into our school @motsimabuse_taunustanzschule.

"We are working with the police to solve this crime. We know we have been targeted on purpose and we will improve security in our school that this will not happen again."

Earlier in the week she confirmed to fans she would not be unable to film for the show but hoped to make a virtual appearance from her living room.

"Aw I miss Motsi. I thought she was going to be zooming?" asked one fan.

"Bring back Motsi queen!" tweeted another.

"I miss Motsi" commented another.

Professional dancer Anton Du Beke is replacing her while she's in quarantine.

Anton, who was the first to be eliminated from this series with former home secretary Jacqui Smith, has said he is “honoured” to have been asked to temporarily fill in for the judge, and he received the thumbs-up from fans of the much-loved BBC dance show.

"Missing @MOTSI_MABUSE this week but Anton is a bloody brilliant judge," said one fan.

Another told Motsi: "We miss you! am loving Anton as a judge though."

"Can we permanently have Anton judging pls," asked another.

And another commented: "I love Anton as a judge."
