Strictly Strictly Come Dancing's Ola and James's six and a half stone weight loss seen in 6 seconds

If you are currently tucking into a mince pie, then you may want to pop it down for a moment or two. Former Strictly Come Dancing stars James and Ola Jordan have shared their body transformation stories and it is inspiring.

The proud couple shared a six-second video clip showing off the results of their four month weight loss and health journey. The professional dancers are pictured walking towards the camera and flicking between before and after shots.

Posting on Instagram the couple appear to shed the weight in seconds. Alongside the video Ola wrote: "Hey watch us lose 6 1/2 Stone in 6 seconds!"

Ola continued: "It took a bit longer than that in reality - four months in total. Although the first two weeks were quite dramatic. We lost two stone between us in a fortnight. Pretty crazy eh?! But we had a lot to lose and you always lose more in the first couple of weeks."

Friends and fans were quick to congratulate the pair on their new figures. One person replied: "You guys look amazing!". Another said: "SMASHED IT", and a third, Strictly professional Neil Jones, added: "Well done both of you. You look incredible it always impressed me how you both can make massive transformations".

James, 44, and Ola, 40, were regulars on Strictly Come Dancing, according to Manchester Evening News - Ola from 2006 to 2015, and James from 2006 to 2013. The couple share a two-year-old daughter Ella. However, both confessed to having struggled to keep the weight off following the birth of their daughter. Documenting their journey, they say they've lost their "mum and dad bods" doing the Dance Shred diet and fitness plan, which combines fitness moves with their favourite dance steps. In the first two weeks Ola lost one stone 2lbs and James lost 11lbs.

The couple say they decided it was time to get back in shape after being 'horrified' by a holiday snap. At the time, she wrote: "I wasn’t going to post this picture but I’ve decided to because I’m horrified and so disappointed with myself and by posting it I’m hoping it will help motivate me to do something about it.

"Our friend took this snap of us yesterday trying to stay cool by the pool but OMG... it was a total shock to say the least! When did we get ‘mum and dad bods’ ???? We know we’re not in our best Strictly shape but hey that’s what happens when you stop dancing for hours every day and have a baby (I just want to know James’ excuse)."

The pair say they lost the most weight at the beginning of their health kick with "results steadying to 1-2 lbs a week after that". They've now devised a 12-week programme called 'The Dance Shred Plan' helping others to 'smash their body goals'.
