Strictly star Tom Fletcher's bandmate Harry Judd slams judges over 'harsh' scoring

Tom Fletcher's bandmate Harry Judd has slammed Strictly Come Dancing judges over their scoring during Saturday night's show.

The former McFly star, 36, performed an emotional routine with his dance partner Amy Dowden last night, to the track On My Own from Les Misérables.

But Tom and Amy's moving routine only scored 31 points from the judges, with many fans claiming the judges were "trying to get him out".

They criticised his performance for "lacking heart".

It appears Tom's bandmate also thought the judges scored him harshly, as he took to Twitter and shared his thoughts.

"7!?!? Come off it," Harry penned on the social media app.

Strictly viewers also agreed that the judges were too strict with their scoring.

Underneath the tweet, fans joined in on the criticism, sharing: "They were unnecessarily harsh on him. also thought it was quite condescending telling him to let it go So unfair @mcflyharry I think you are amazing @TomFletcher you are my winner."

A second shared: "Judges need to be consistent in their voting and not have favourites who make mistakes but get a high score. They even mention mistake then score high."

"Have to say I'm not a fan of the judging and scores on #Strictly tonight. Tom and Amy were seriously undermarked," a third commented.

Tom broke down in tears in a VT during the latest episode of the show, as he paid tribute to his little sister Carrie Hope Fletcher.

The pair share a love for musical theatre, which he says changed his life - with him meeting his future wife Giovanna Fletcher at theatre school.

Both Tom and Carrie appeared in theatre from a young age, with his younger sibling going on to have huge success in the West End.

But not everyone was aware the McFly singer and the Cinderella and Les Misérables star were related, or that they were in fact brother and sister.

It was only during Saturday night's Strictly that some viewers realised, when Tom spoke of his sister's career and his pride over her achieving her dreams.

The two met to discuss his upcoming performance, and again the tears flowed as they talked about their dreams coming true.

Tom told his sister the dance would be a tribute to her, before revealing the special link his song had to them both.

He performed to the Les Misérables track On My Own, which Carrie sang when she starred as Eponine - having played Young Eponine years earlier as a child, when she made her debut on stage.

Tom said seeing her perform the track was the moment he saw her dreams come true, causing him to sob all over again.

Carrie told her brother she was excited to see the dance and see him perform to the track, knowing the special meaning it had for her and her family.
