Strictly Come Dancing star Nadiya Bychkova has been taken to hospital after a “nasty” fall during rehearsals in London, it has been reported.
The Ukrainian dancer, 35, was training in north London on Tuesday lunchtime when she injured herself, according to The Mirror.
An ambulance was called due to fears over her back, while an insider told the newspaper “no-one was taking any chances”.
“The Strictly crew rushed into action and she was stretchered out,” the insider added.
A source close to Strictly told The Mirror that Nadiya was taken to hospital for checks and is receiving support from medical and welfare teams.
“Rehearsals continue and the Strictly team are in close contact with Nadiya,” the source added.

A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: "We were called at 12:37pm on Tuesday 12 August to reports of an incident at Regent’s Park Road, NW1.
“We sent an ambulance crew to the scene and treated one person before taking them to hospital".
It is understood Nadiya underwent tests at the hospital and has since left.
It comes as Strictly Come Dancing has confirmed the sixth celebrity taking to the dancefloor this year will be YouTuber and podcaster George Clarke.
25-year-old Clarke — better known online as George Clarkey — first began making videos as a teenager, blending comedy and candour to build a devoted online following.
He has since amassed millions of fans across YouTube, TikTok and Instagram, drawn to his quick wit and relatable humour.
Clarke also co-hosts The Useless Hotline Podcast alongside Max Balegde, which has become such a hit that it has spawned a string of sell-out live shows across the UK.
His joining the hit BBC One dance competition was announced on BBC Radio 1’s Going Home Drivetime Show on Monday.
Strictly Come Dancing is expected to return to BBC One in Autumn 2025.
