Strictly star Rose Ayling-Ellis' 'Hollywood' plans after final and EastEnders future

Rose Ayling-Ellis has become the nation’s sweetheart after wowing with her sensational Strictly Come Dancing performances.

The EastEnders actress has left viewers in awe every week by taking the dance floor by storm - and she looks set to continue to remain all over our screens.

Rose, 26, was given time off from the BBC soap to take part in Strictly and is set to return once the series ends, but she will have a lot of other offers on the table.

There were concerns the actress had left EastEnders for good when her character, Frankie Lewis, hopped in a black cab, but happily she's just taking a break to fully focus on her dancing.

Rose told Metro : “Normally, EastEnders makes you work at the same time as doing Strictly, but EastEnders gave me time off, so I can just focus on Strictly completely."

There has been talk of Rose starring in an unprecedented BBC drama, while others are discussing Hollywood as the actress has impressed American TV executives.

Rose is poised for stardom in America after catching the attention of some big bosses while being interview on on of the biggest networks in the States.

The actress wowed viewers on CBS, which averages a six-million audience and claims to be America’s most watched network.

Thrilled Rose told the Sunday People : “I thought ‘Oh it’s very nice’ but didn’t realise the show went everywhere. We’ve reached America!”

When asked if Hollywood could come calling, Rose said: “I would love to do more acting for sure.”

There will also be plenty of acting opportunities on this side of the Pond - with the BBC keen for Rose to remain on EastEnders and have new roles.

It’s been reported that Beeb bosses want the Strictly finalist to take the lead in a drama based on a deaf character.

Rose will definitely be heading back to Walford, with Frankie remaining an important part of the Carter family and no doubt getting even bigger storylines upon her return.

But in the long term the BBC are very keen to develop a new series with the first to feature a deaf actor.

“Rose has already shattered so many stereotypes during her time on Strictly and execs will be keen to see that continue once the show has ended,” an insider told The Sun.

“Although she is committed for the foreseeable future to EastEnders, that doesn’t mean that she won’t be looking at her longer term prospects. Especially as she’s seen her profile soar as a result of sailing into the final.

“And the BBC will be keen to ensure that she takes her next step with the corporation, rather than with another broadcaster who could be keen to sign her up.”

The actress has been making great strides on the show with her partner Giovanni Pernice.

The couple have made Strictly history by being the first pairing to feature a deaf contestant – with Rose and Giovanni incorporating sign language into their routines for their stunning performances.

Many viewers will be very keen to see a lot more of Rose on their screens, but she may need a bit of a rest first after a gruelling few months.

So how will her character come back to EastEnders?

The actress' surprise exit from the soap last month saw Frankie heading off into the sunset amid a feud with her sister Nancy Carter.

Her dad Mick Carter was in tears as he learned she was going, with Frankie making him realise that she needed some time away.

Frankie will have to make amends with Nancy before coming back into the Carter household.

*The Strictly Come Dancing final airs Saturday night at 7pm on BBC One
