Strictly star Rhys Stephenson celebrates New Year in Tenby

Children's TV presenter Rhys Stephenson was a firm fan favourite on the 2021 series of Strictly Come Dancing and now he has seen in the New Tear in Wales.

The CBeebies presenter finished fourth on Strictly Come Dancing and will be taking part in the series tour later this year.

He posted holiday pictures of him and his friends in popular seaside destination Tenby over the New Year period as he welcomed in 2022.

Posting to his Instagram account he said the break was exactly what he needed before heading out on the Strictly tour.

He said: "Saw in the New Year in Wales with the best people, just the rest I needed before the big tour."

The 28-year-old also joked that he had forgotten some dance moves, he said: "Although I think I forgot how to swivel."

Rhys appeared to be enjoying coastal walks as he posted pictures of him and friends on cliff-top paths and looking out over Tenby.

During his time on Strictly Come Dancing Rhys wowed the judges with his excited energy, became emotional when shown a video of support from his dad, and made it all the way to the semi-final.
