Strictly Come Dancing star and Good Morning Britain presenter Ranvir Singh is set to replace Lorraine Kelly on her show next week.
The talk show host revealed on Wednesday, December 16, that Friday will be the last time she presents the show before going on a break for Christmas.
Ranvir - who was eliminated from the dancing competition last weekend - will be stepping in while the Scottish mum-of-one takes some well-earned time off.
The 43-year-old is set to present the show Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday next week.
It comes as ITV has revealed that for the first time ever the daytime show will air on Christmas day, with Lorraine to return by then.
Speaking to Ranvir in an interview Lorraine told viewers: "Next week, great news, we are going to be swapping chairs.
"You're going to be here which is fabulous, thank you.
"It’ll be great, you’ll be brilliant on this show, you’ll be fantastic."
"No thank you," Ranvir replied, "I am so excited."
"I’ll be at home with a cup of tea watching my Ranvir," Lorraine added.
‘I better not mess it up,’ Ranvir laughed.
Good Morning Britain, Lorraine and This Morning will air festive specials, honouring the bright moments of what has been an extraordinary year.
