Strictly sparks controversy after Maisie Smith left in the bottom two

Maisie Smith and Gorka Marquez found themselves in the bottom two again on Strictly Come Dancing.

The pair performed a salsa on Saturday's show and received 27 points out of 30 from judges.

Shirley Ballas said: "What a way to come back from that dreaded dance-off."

So it was quite the surprise for viewers to see Maisie and Gorka in the bottom two for a second week.

Strictly viewers took to Twitter, saying they couldn't understand how Maisie had made it into the dance-off alongside Caroline Quentin.

Mark said: "Maisie again!! WTF PEOPLE!!"

Winnie added: "Maisie surely not."

A third said: "Maisie in the dance-off again? I will HOWL."
