Tom Fletcher 's "clothes don't fit anymore" because of the intense training on Strictly Come Dancing.
The McFly singer recently revealed he is in the best shape of his life after competing on the BBC One show, but his new found fitness means he will have to buy a whole new wardrobe.
Tom and professional dance partner Amy Dowden danced a Tango dressed as devils to Highway To Hell by AC/DC over the weekend, but the singer revealed the gruelling training sessions are a huge workout for him.
Speaking on ITV's Lorraine, he said: "I definitely am [in the best shape of my life]. None of my clothes fit anymore. It's such a workout dancing every day, I'll be jumping around on stage with the band."
Tom and Amy have become firm friends since appearing on the show together and the dancer is even helping to train the whole family to learn the skill.
He added: "We get to go home and be with the family. Amy's coming back and teaching the kids to dance and teaching Giovanna how to dance. It's amazing because we're kind of getting to do the Strictly experience together as a family, which is really nice.
"I wanted the whole family to experience it together ... Annoyingly, Giovanna kind of picks it up quicker than I do, which is a little bit annoying."
"I think that's down to be good teaching," he joked.
He told The Mirror: "I don’t like to complain because Amy just rolls her eyes.
"You’re using muscles you never use and ache in places you didn’t know you had."
Tom and Amy were forced to sit out one week of Strictly after contracting coronavirus -1>coronavirus, and the singer admitted it was hard having to train separately on Zoom during that time.
He explained: "It was really tough. I tried my best but it's really hard doing it on your own. Getting in the room with each other yesterday, it suddenly feels like I understand what that is meant to look like."
"I am so impressed. I think because we had limited hours, we have really made the most of it. Tom is doing so well," Amy added.
