Strictly's Rylan opens up about unknown past with Emma Weymouth

Rylan Clark-Neal has revealed that he performed Spice Girls songs at Strictly contestant Emma Weymouth's wedding.

Emma appeared on It Takes Two today with pro partner Aljaz Skorjanec and spoke about their upcoming second dance.

Rylan began by asking: "Before we go any further, milady may I call you Emma?"

Grinning, Emma told Rylan to "please do" and then Rylan told viewers that he needed to be "upfront and honest" about something.

They revealed that they had met before at Emma's wedding to husband Caeawlin Thynn in 2013.

"I performed a Spice Girls megamix at your wedding!" Rylan exclaimed as a picture of the pair was shown on screen. "It's when my teeth were just put in!"

Earlier during It Takes Two, Rylan was left horrified as Strictly legend Vincent Simone called Michelle Visage a prostitute.

The professional dancer, who was on the BBC dancing show from 2006 until 2012, appeared on the spin-off show for Choreography Corner.

But when it came to critiquing Michelle Visage and Giovanni Pernice's dance, the discussion turned a little pear-shaped.

Rylan prompted Vincent by saying that she was "great" doing the Cha cha cha.

Vincent replied: "For me, she was like a lady of the night."

As he was about to continue, Rylan gasped and said: "A what?!"

The former Strictly pro repeated: "A lady of the night."

"That has a very different meaning from where I come from," Rylan replied wryly.

At the weekend, Michelle and Giovanni wowed the judges with their performance and was awarded a huge 30, including 8s from Craig Revel Horwood and Motsi Mabuse.

She was sat just behind Kelvin and Oti and Karim and Amy, who scored 32 and 31 respectively.

Meanwhile at the bottom were James and Luba with 11 and Chris and Karen with 13.
