Strictly's Rose Ayling-Ellis has 'already won the Glitterball trophy' says former show pro James Jordan

We haven't had the Strictly Come Dancing semi-finals yet, but the winner is all ready certain according to one of the show's former professional dancers, James Jordan.

He said EastEnders' actress Rose Ayling-Ellis is 'guaranteed' to make the final on Saturday, December 18 and then lift the Glitterball.

Writing alongside his wife, and former Strictly professional Ola Jordan, in their weekly Hello! magazine column, James also tipped CBBC's Rhys Stephenson for a slot in the final saying he's "shaking things up".

Ola said their favourites for the final from the start of the series had been Rose, presenter AJ Odudu and celebrity chef John Waite, prompting James to write that Rhys could make it if one of the others slips up.

James wrote: "For me, the only dancer who is guaranteed be in the final is Rose. If I'm honest, I think she's got the Glitterball trophy already - and she deserves it."

Saturday's live show saw mistakes from John and his professional dance partner Johannes Radebe, as well as from AJ and Kai Waddington - which the Jordans blamed on pressure ahead of the semi-final and final.

But Rose and dance partner Giovanni Pernice impressed the judges with their American Smooth that saw a remarkable 'leap of faith' as Rose flung herself through the air before being caught by Giovanni.

BBC Breakfast presenter Dan Walker, 44, was the latest eliminated celebrity following his quarter-finals tango with partner Nadiya Bychkova.
