Strictly Come Dancing Rose Ayling-Ellis has revealed the damage caused by the 'leap of faith' in the routine last weekend.
The EastEnders actress and her dance partner Giovanni Pernice made it through to the semi-finals with their American Smooth to a rendition of This Will Be An Everlasting Love by Natalie Cole.
The performance featured Rose, 27, having to run and take a leap before Giovanni grabbed her hands and started spinning her without touching the ground.
Head judge Shirley Ballas told her: "You delivered a performance of a lifetime. There was a point in mid-air where you were not touching each other, that is really a leap of faith."

Craig Revel Horwood said: "Absolutely amazing that lift. I thought the whole routine was absolutely gorgeous, wonderful storytelling."
They were given a near-perfect score of 39.
Appearing on Strictly spin-off It Takes Two and talking to host Janette Manrara, Rose shared that she originally learned the move via watching a video, with Giovanni reassuring her: "I will catch you, just do it, just go."
They first practiced the lift with a mat, but realised that it was more painful for Rose to land on the mat if she fell, which she did several times in rehearsals, so scrapped it.

"I’ve got a big bruise on my hip," Rose said, gesturing to her left side.
With their last dance now behind them, all the focus has been on rehearsals for not one, but two dances this weekend.
Janette joked: "Giovanni mentioned how close you were actually going to be, you weren't very excited about it Rose, and I think it's only carried on more through rehearsals during the week because look at this…"

They then showed a video of the pair in rehearsals having to get up close and personal as they practice for their Argentine Tango.
Giovanni is heard saying: "Good, better," before Rose looks at her hand in slight disgust and says: "Sweaty".
Slightly irked, the Italian dancer shouted: "Stop doing the sweaty," but Rose repeats: "You're just very sweaty."

Giovanni then joked: "Stop doing the sweaty thing. People would pay to have this sweat and be this close with me."
In the Strictly Come Dancing semi-finals, the EastEnders actress will dance an Argentine tango to A Evaristo Carriego by Eduardo Rovira, and waltz to How Long Will I Love You by pop star Ellie Goulding.
On the BBC Two show, Giovanni told Janette that they learnt their waltz routine in just three hours.
He added: "She really understands the ballroom, I think this is going to be a good dance for her."
