Strictly Come Dancing star Rose Ayling-Ellis tickled fans thanks to her hilarious response to her former dancing partner's cheeky update.
The former EastEnders actress, 28, lifted the Glitterball trophy with Strictly professional Giovanni Pernice in 2021 and the two stars have maintained a close friendship ever since - with fans dying for the pair to get together romantically.
Taking to Instagram earlier this week, the Italian dancer, 32, shared a snap of himself posing alongside Anton du Beke after catching the Strictly judge performing in a pantomime over the festive period.
"Fantastic evening watching my partner in crime @mrantondubeke in Jack and the Beanstalk at @churchill_bromley," Giovanni captioned the picture of himself and Anton beaming for the camera.
The next day, the dancer - who is rumoured to be dating fellow Strictly professional Jowita Przystal - lent his support to Rose as she made her West End debut in the retelling of Shakespeare’s As You Like It.
Giovanni shared a snap of himself and Rose cosied up together for a picture amid her stint on stage, captioning the cute snap: "Another amazing evening, watching my second partner in crime @rose.a.e at @sohoplace with As You Like It. Brilliant performances."
Rose was quick to comment on her former dance partner's caption - quipping: "Nice to know that @mrantondubeke is your number one."
She then added: "Thank you soooo much for coming!"
Fans of the pair loved the cheeky banter from Rose - with some even calling for the two stars to start dating.
"You two are made for each other look at the smiles on your faces. Come in guys get it together," one hopeful fan begged in the comment section of Giovanni's post, with another adding: "Are you 2 an item yet , come on Giovanni get a riddle on."
Giovanni was dating Love Island star Maura Higgins ahead of taking to the dancefloor with Rose during the 2021 series of Strictly, but the pair split before the dancer and his celebrity partner were crowned champions of the BBC show in December 2021.
Rose suffered heartache after winning the show, when she split up with her boyfriend of seven years Sam Arnold shortly after lifting the Glitterball trophy.
Despite fans 'shipping' the two single stars, and hoping their friendships develops into a romance, it seems Giovanni may have found love with another Strictly co-star.
The Italian star - who has previously dated Ashley Roberts and Georgia May Foote - is said to be dating Strictly's 2022 champion Jowita Pryzstal, who won last year's series with Hamza Yassin.
Rumours abut Jowita and Giovanni have been circulating since the dancers first performed together on the show in October with obvious chemistry. eagle-eyed viewers also spotted Giovanni giving Jowita a long embrace after she won the show in December.
The Strictly couple seemingly went public with their romance at Chelsea footballer Jorghino's lavish birthday bash last month.
