Nicola Adams is reported to have introduced her girlfriend Ella Baig to dance partner Katya Jones before the duo star training together for Strictly Come Dancing.
Earlier this month, it was revealed that Katya had been selected as the professional to team up with Nicola and become Strictly's first ever same sex pairing.
Before the pair ramp up their training time ahead of the first live show next week, Nicola is said to have helped her girlfriend Ella move from Leeds to London to meet Katya.
Source close to boxer Nicola, 37, have said she wants her 21-year-old girlfriend to feel comfortable about her working with Katya in the coming weeks.
They told The Sun : "Nicola wants Ella to be as happy as possible so a cosy meeting with Katya will smooth out any awkwardness. Nicola is confident in the relationship."
This year the Strictly stars will be closer than ever to keep within the current coronavirus guidelines.
Nicola said: ''Ella's bubbling with me. Our family and friends have been taking the mickey about the ‘curse’ but she’s fine.
“She knows I love her and she completes me. Anybody else just doesn’t come close.”
Nicola and Ella were spotted enjoying one of their last free weekends for a while in London last night as they attended Denise Van Outen's racy burlesque show.
Ella ramped up the glamour in a see-through black gown that revealed her nude underwear.
The stunning model first met Olympic gold medallist Nicola in a nightclub two years ago.
The smitten pair have said they are already planning their future and dreaming of getting married and raising a family together.
Strictly's Katya has shared her excitement at working with the sportwoman on the BBC dance contest after their partnership was revealed this month.
"Nicola is a legendary girl and inspired a lot of young women. I will have an unforgettable experience. It’s very interesting."
Katya will no doubt be hoping to achieve the same success she reached in 2017 when she lifted the famous glitterball tropy with actor Joe McFadden.
