Strictly's Nicola Adams confirms she's returning with Katya to dance one more time

Strictly Come Dancing star Nicola Adams has confirmed she's returning to the show with Katya Jones after being booted out because of a coronavirus scare.

The athlete was removed from the line-up after Katya tested positive for Covid-19.

There were rumours Nicola could be returning after her isolation period ends, and she's now spoken out to explain she will be back on the dance floor.

During an appearance on Strictly spin-off It Takes Two last night, host Zoe Ball addressed speculation Nicola might dance again.

She asked the star: "A little birdie has told me that you will be returning to the Strictly stage, what can you tell us Nicola?"

Zoe then clarified that Nicola and Katya won't be competing but they will be doing another dance.

Previous reports suggested the pair may come back to dance during the Strictly final.

A source told The Sun : "Strictly bosses knew as soon as Nicola had to leave that they wanted to do something special for her.

"The rules mean she can’t come back to the show next year but they’re planning to bring her back with Katya for the final."
